On the Road to 2010-2011
2 Timothy 2:22 “Flee the evil desires of youth, and pursue righteousness, faith, love and peace, along with those who call on the Lord out of a pure heart”
As we enter into s New Year, Christian Endeavour Youth Unlimited (CEYU) will be involved in community work in order to fulfill one of our mandates as indigenous Christian Youth Ministry in The Gambia. Sharing the Gospel with our colleagues at work, schools, church and local communities will be intensive as part of our M24:14 activities. Matthew 24: 14 “And this Gospel of the Kingdom will be preached in the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come.”
Our monthly prayer meetings for the welfare of our nation The Gambia in line with the will of God will continue. This is done in appreciation of the peace we are enjoying in the country.
CEYU will also be looking in to youth empowerment projects like poverty alleviation and food security. It will also endeavor to take part in global fight for climate change through participating in tree planting exercises during this coming summer.
We continue to pray that the Almighty God reveal His mercy, power and grace upon our nation in general and the youth in particular. AMEN.
I am looking forward to be invited to your CE, so do not hesitate to invite me to your group.
Yours in Him,
Dominic Gomez
CEYU – President.
